Install Docuslice on Android

Available on
Android

Requirements

  • Android 9.0 (Pie) or later.
  • A Google account signed in on the device, for Google Play.
Docuslice is free on Android, supported by ads. A free Docuslice account is required to export — see Signing in below.

Step 1 — Install from Google Play

  1. Open the Play Store on your phone or tablet.
  2. Search for Docuslice, or open the store listing directly.
  3. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
  4. Tap Open.

Step 2 — Make your first tiled print

  1. Tap + to start a project and pick an image or PDF from your device.
  2. Choose your paper size and orientation — the sheets your printer actually holds, not the finished poster size. See Supported Paper Sizes.
  3. Set the poster size or the number of sheets. Which one you enter is the difference between the two modes — see Grid Mode and Size Mode.
  4. Tap Export to preview the tiles, then export as PDF or images.

Print from whatever app you normally print with. Set the print dialog to the same paper size you chose in Docuslice, at 100% or Actual Size — see Why Some of My Printed Pages Are Cropped.

Signing in

You can build a project without an account — add a file, set the paper size, arrange the canvas. You need to be signed in to export, which is the step that produces the PDF or images you send to the printer. Creating an account is free.

Signing in is also what carries a Pro or Pro+ purchase onto the device. If you have bought a plan, sign in with the same account you used at purchase and the paid options unlock.

Updating Docuslice

Google Play updates the app automatically. To update by hand, open the Play Store, go to Manage apps & device, and tap Update next to Docuslice.
