Managing Your Account

Account settings hold the small set of things attached to you rather than to a project.

Your name

Set or change your username, first name and last name. None of them are used to sign in, so changing them never affects your ability to get back in.

Profile picture

Add a picture or replace an existing one from your photo library or files. It is optional.

Appearance and language

These are app settings rather than account settings — on Android and iOS they live on the Settings screen, and in the browser they are in the app's own menus.

  • Appearance switches between light and dark on that device.
  • Language follows your device by default. Docuslice is translated into 40 languages and you can pick a different one explicitly; the change applies immediately. See supported languages.

Your plan

The plan screen shows which plan you are on and the purchase behind it. This is the place to check before contacting anyone about a payment, and the place to start an upgrade.

Devices

On a paid plan, the devices screen lists everything registered to your account, with the current one marked, and lets you remove any of them. See devices and the device limit.

Security

The Security screen is where passkeys live, along with the two-factor option and a way to sign out of other devices — or all of them at once, which is what you want if a device is lost. See passkeys and sign-in security.

Deleting your account

Account settings also offers to delete the account outright. This is permanent.

Signing out — it deletes your local projects

On Android and iOS, signing out deletes every project and file stored on the device. The app says so before it does it:

All local data like projects and files will be deleted. Are you sure you want to signout?

Nothing is synced to a server, so there is no copy to restore. Export anything you want to keep first. See projects and where your work is saved.

On the browser and desktop apps there is nothing stored to lose.
