What is Docuslice?

Docuslice is a user-friendly app that allows you to create large posters and banners by slicing large image or document into multiple pages to easily print using regular paper and a standard printer. It's designed to empower individuals to express themselves and assist educators in creating impactful visual aids for teaching. Docuslice is tarpapel maker, DIY poster maker and block poster maker app.


Where can I download the app?

The app is available on Google Playstore and Apple App Store. You may also try our online web app at app.docuslice.com


Is it free?

Yes. Totally free!


Does it support multiple paper sizes?

Yes. We currently support paper sizes such as Letter, Folio (or Long Bond Paper), Legal, A3, A3+ (Super B), A4, A5, and A6.


Does it support importing PDF file?

Yes. We support importing PDF file. You can choose to create your posters from any app like Microsoft Office Apps or Google Docs Apps then export that as pdf file. After exporting, you can import the file to Docuslice app.


Does it support importing image file?

Yes. Definitely we support import image files! You can choose to create your posters from any graphic design apps like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Figma then export it as image file. You can then import the image to Docuslice app to convert the image into slices and print on multiple pages.


Can you add text?

Yes. Click the Text icon to add your text. You can also customize the font size, style, color and format. You can also move it anywhere on the canvas.


Does it have watermark?

Yes but you can choose to remove it by watching an advertisement. It's just a click of a button.


Does it have cutting guides?

Yes! On Docuslice app, you can choose what type of cutting/slicing guide you want to be printed. It can be dashed lines or solid lines. You can also turn this off.


Is the margin customizable?

Yes! On Docuslice app, you can choose the margin size. You can instantly view the changes on Export Preview Screen.


Does it support multi-layers?

Yes! Docuslice supports multi-layers. You can import multiple images and documents on a single canvas or poster. You can arrange the media object on canvas however you like in Layers Screen.


Is it compatible with my printer?

Yes! Docuslice supports common paper sizes which are supported in most printers.


My poster is pixelated. What can I do?

If your poster is pixelated, make sure to import high quality or large image resolution file to make sure it will provide great result.

What is tarpapel?

Tarpapel is a taglish (Tagalog-English) combined words such as "tarpaulin" (or "tarp") and "papel" ("paper"). It is a cheap alternative to tarpaulin printing. With Docuslice app, you can create low-cost tarpaulin-sized poster printed on paper.


What is block poster?

Also known as a tiled or segmented poster, Block poster is a type of poster that is created by slicing or dividing a single image or design into multiple smaller sections or blocks. It is a method to print large image on multiple pages.


What is DIY poster?

DIY poster is Do It Yourself Poster.
